Seek the face of God – spend time in His presence without any agenda – allow God to speak to your heart

Welcome the Holy Spirit – give free rein to the Holy Spirit, speak words of welcome to Him, desire to have the Holy Spirit move in your home, church and city.

Serve God with Raw Obedience – give unquestioning, faith-filled obedience to the word of the Holy Spirit.

Know His Provision - When the Lord speaks a word to us, since the Lord cannot be separated from His Word – He IS the Word – the Lord imparts Himself with that word to us.  Therefore, all of His grace, resources, strength, authority are included with the word (as in a bubble package).  As we give Raw Obedience to the word we have been given, we walk in all His provision.

Make Preparation - There is intense preparation around the world for His outpouring, and all the major prophets are saying, “The outpouring is around the corner.”  Two years ago the Lord spoke to Franz saying, “I will pour out My Spirit without measure.”  “It is not a question of If, but of When,” he said.

Seven configurations of prayerall of which are powerful:

  1. One person praying -- Daniel praying several times a day, keeping himself holy in the midst of pagan Babylon – your example

  2. Two or more praying in one accord – Acts 2:42, 46 – praying in unity that is intensely passionate and in total agreement

  3. Apostolic prayer with a word of command – where a whole region changes because of the Apostolic command – history records that the Apostle John was directed by the Holy Spirit to speak to the altar of Diana whereupon the altar crumbled and the territorial spirit over Ephesus was broken

  4. Prayer of Agreement – Matthew 18:19 – if two agree, it will be done – this is a powerful prayer – don’t discount the power of this prayer

  5. Worship out of impossible circumstances – Paul and Silas in jail (Acts 16:25) “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”

  6. People praying or fasting in response to a leader or prophet – Ezra called for a 3 day fast for their protection for the trip to Jerusalem

  7. Continuous Watchman Prayer (24/7) for the city – rotation of people praying -- Isaiah 62:6-12  “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night…Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out  the stones, lift up a banner for the people.”

Be Conductive - An apostle in the UK shared a vision recently with Franz of angels holding nets – nets that are being linked together as a continuous net all over the world.

That the Holy Spirit is preparing conductors who will allow Him free access to flow, that the lost may be caught and processed (saved and discipled). If the Holy Spirit needs to pray through you for a situation or a person, be available; allow Him to use you in groaning and travailing for others.  Tell Him that He has permission to call on you at any time.

Use Daniel as Your Example - Daniel knew that God had promised to free the Israelites in 70 years, yet he did not assume that it would automatically happen.  In the sameway, we know that God has promised to send revival, yet we should understand that it needs to be prayed in.

Daniel 9:20-21  “Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and

presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God, yes, while I was speaking

in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision in the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me

about the time of the evening offering…”

  1. Speak to it.  Jer. 22: 29  “O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord.” Say to it, “Titusville, hear the Word of the Lord;  no longer will evil altars maintain strongholds over you.  You will be a city dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our children will know the Lord.  Government will be godly.  Statesmen will arise in you.”

“Church, hear the Word of the Lord;  you are strong in Him, you are in unity in Him, you are the fullness of

God, the temple of the Holy Spirit, you are filled with His love for the lost.”

  1. Pray.  Pray for your government.  Pray for the people of the land.  Pray on both levels.  Pray that the Church rise up and be strong.

  1. Confess your sin and the sin of your people.  If you are not sure what to confess as sin, remember that seeing your sin is just a question of how close you get to the Lord. Humble yourself; be empty of all spiritual pride that would cause you to think yourself better than another.

4.  Make supplication to the Lord. (For an excellent teaching on supplications, see article.

Be advised that if you take a stand for righteousness, you will put yourself in the crosshairs of your enemy. Be prepared to stand in faith!

A Foretaste

Franz shared about when he was in Kenya at a pastor’s conference where the senior pastor was teaching about the outpouring at Azusa Street in 1913.  As he finished sharing the principles of revival, he leaned on the podium and said, “You know the Holy Spirit is the same today.”

With that, the power of the Holy Spirit filled the room instantaneously, and every pastor was on his face crying and weeping under intense conviction of sin. For Franz, the cry of his heart was “I do not know you Holy Spirit as I should.  I do not know you Holy Spirit as I can and should.”

Seek to know Him.

Drink deeply.
