Dream of Fire

I was standing in a huge open field, the grass was about shoulder height, and as I looked across the field, I could see smoke and flames shooting in the air.

I experienced the feeling of awe as I watched the magnitude of the fire, but had the thought that it was a long way off, so there was no sense of urgency to do anything.  However, as I looked closer the fire was advancing faster than I could imagine.  The underbrush was igniting and spreading at an incredible speed, making a pathway for the flame coming.

I could see this fast moving underbrush burning, but to most it wasn't visible.  At this time, I was overcome by urgency that the full force of the fire would overtake us.

As I woke up, I heard the words...."Everyone will be part of this fire, one way or another, either to be consumed by the fire and destroyed, or to become part of it.

I believe the underbrush are the forerunners to the revival fire of God...It starts in the hearts of His people where no one sees. The flames are the visible working of God, presently and eternally.

I now felt an urgency in the spirit that time is short, time is now, prepare our hearts and prepare for the outpouring by doing the work of the Kingdom, eagerly expecting the return of the Lord.

Purer Reflection of God

I have had the privilege of joining the prayer meeting on Wednesday morning as we lift up the pastors' meeting in North Brevard. We live in an exciting time as we see incredible unity among the churches.

In calling together any other group of people, there would be compromising in order to bring the group to a consensus. But as the churches come together, there is a higher level of purity.

Every church has its own calling and unique gifting. The nature of their calling is evidenced in their reflection of God.

This reflection of God comes across somewhat like a caricature, focusing on a prominent feature.

You can recognize the person portrayed in the caricature, but it isn't a true reflection of the complete person.

As the different churches are coming together, there is a purity that cannot

be attained by a church on its own.

As different churches are blending together, they are making a purer reflection of God.

Fire Alarm!

Upon rising, I wanted to worship God in song. Holy Spirit began to give me melodies in my spirit and words of one line or so.

The first was, "To God Be The Glory."  Psalm 126:3 "The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."

The second was, "Mighty Is Our God." Rev. 4:11 "You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things."

And lastly Holy Spirit impressed on me, "Oh, the Glory of Your Presence."  II Chronicles 5:14 "The glory of the Lord filled the temple of God."

As He gave me these, I heard the first song in my spirit.

As I sat enjoying Him in the pure worship of His presence, I heard the fire alarm. The Titusville Towers building fire alarm went off about 6:00 am. The automatic announcement came on and said that there was a fire in the building and to leave your room and go to the nearest exit. A staff person then announced "Floors 1-9 stay in your rooms. Floors 10 and 12 go to the stairwell exits.  Floor 11 leave your rooms immediately!"

Since I live in Room 1110, my ears picked up.  The nurse opened my door to check if I smelled smoke. I responded with a "No."  She then shared with me that the system showed that the north end of the eleventh floor near the stairwell area is what set the alarm off - the area where I live.

To help them check for fire, I walked the 12th floor and then the 10th floor. Then taking the north stairwell up from the 10th floor to the 11th floor, I smelled the smoke. Stopping, I checked my sense of smell to see if correct. I definitely smelled smoke.

As I stilled myself, I heard in my spirit,

"This fire alarm was set off as a sound and a sign to My people to be

alert.  To alert My people to watch and pray for the time is short.

For a new thing is coming forth like never before. I have said it

before, but now I am sounding the alarm to be alert. Stay close to

me. Listen, watch, and pray. The glory of the Lord will be seen!"

My prayer is His people will really heed what the Lord is saying. To be alert, to stay close to God, and to listen. Time is shorter than we realize.
